The kilkerran 16 was added to the core range in in 2020 and continues to be released anually. With each annual release the maturation can vary giving a slight flavour variation.

The 2025 release was a mixture of around 2/3 ex bourbon and a 1/3 ex sherry cask maturation.

Nose: Notes of prunes, marzipan and orange-infused chocolate introduce this dram.

Palate: Vibrant and complex on the palate, there are notes of maraschino cherry syrup, liquorice, dates and star anise. Gentle peat smoke emerges, along with a hint of cinnamon toast.

Finish: Sea salt in the finish, with notes of hazelnuts, mint and morello cherries.
