The finish is exceptionally smooth, lingering on sweet grapefruit and gentle warmth.

Once-famous, now reborn: the original release vanished fast, so master blender Rachel Barrie has reimagined it with a new recipe. Finished in a mix of oloroso and Pedro Ximénez casks, this is a full‑throated sherry expression—rich, spicy and fruit-forward.

Nose: Mature fruit cake—restrained, not cloying—where gently singed raisins and a wash of bittersweet dark rum lead. Baked apples, brown sugar and cinnamon provide warmth, while cherries and plump sultanas add tart, juicy highlights.

Palate: Dense and velvety, driven by concentrated dried fruit: rum-soaked raisins, prunes and a hint of chopped date. Underneath, nutmeg and cinnamon
