Premium Malt of the Month - September: £4.75
Gleann Mòr - Rare Find - Aultmore 14 Year Old
Distilled in 2012 and aged 14 years in a single refill barrique (no. 8894), this whisky is bottled at 56.6% ABV. Rich and full-bodied, it leans sweet and expressive—an intriguing example of a lesser-known Speyside malt.
Official Tasting notes - The nose opens with golden syrup, heather honey and bubblegum leading to a juicy palate with vanilla ice cream cherries and a touch of icing sugar with a balanced sweet finish with a hint of pepper.
