The gnarly old bush vines that bear this precious fruit that go on to make this wine were planted up to a 100 years ago in the mountain vineyards of Atea. Even while struggling to survive in the conditions of the 1000 meter altitude they have the ability to produce this fantastic wine. Blackberry and cherry flavours present with an exquisite underlying pepperiness that will leave the palate stunned.
