Lochlea’s Fallow Edition (Third Crop) is the final release in their Seasonal trilogy, showcasing the distillery’s signature style with a sherry influence. This small-batch expression is matured in 1st-fill Oloroso Sherry Butts, and the spirit is one year older than the 2023 edition, reflecting the farm’s seasonal cycle. Bottled at 46% ABV, this non-chill filtered whisky retains its natural colour. Tasting notes reveal baked apple and sweet medjool dates on the nose, followed by manuka honey and nutty malted bread on the palate, with a finish of rich buttery sandalwood oils and mixed peppercorns.
