Glasgow 1770 Peated cask stregnth whisky is a a gorgeously rich dram from Glasgow distillery. The spirit has matured for an undisclosed length of time, in virgin American white oak and was then finished in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks.

Tasting Notes:

Nose – On the nose, rich smoky BBQ sauce, tobacco leaf and opulent smoked Iberico ham, opening up to ripe juicy blackberries and sticky poached plums.

Palate – On the palate, sweet BBQ smoke with grilled pineapple and banana lead to slow roasted coffee beans, dried apricot and flamed orange zest.

Finish – The finish is long and rich with lasting notes of sweet tobacco, dark chocolate, juicy raisins and sultanas, with hints of toasted oak shavings.
