Here we have a new 8 Year Old addition to the Glasgow 1770 Single Malt Scotch Whisky Range. An ongoing bottling that marries together equal proportions of two of their whisky production styles: unpeated and peated single malt.

Batch 01 is a marriage of six casks in total, each cask fully matured in first fill ex-bourbon barrels. The result is a single malt packed with notes of rich vanilla, floral honey, sweet smoke, citrus fruit, and shortbread with tropical tones throughout.54% ABV / 700ml

Tasting Notes

Nose: Floral honey and vanilla with a waft of sweet smoke. Floral undertones throughout with notes of toffee apples and buttery citrus fruit.

Palate: Velvety with notes of rich vanilla and double cream leading to tropical pineapple, sweet clementine orange and malty shortbread. 

Finish: Long-lasting vanilla-forward finish with ongoing notes of sweet smoke and a rich oak spice
